SIFER 2025: Idea Optical showcases its optical connectivity solutions for the railway industry

Idea Optical presented its customised optical connectivity solutions for railway infrastructure at the SIFER 2025 trade fair. This first participation was marked by numerous meetings and project opportunities.

A remarkable first participation at SIFER

From 24 to 26 June 2025, Idea Optical participated in the 14th edition of the International Railway Industry Exhibition (SIFER) at Lille Grand Palais. This leading event brought together more than 400 exhibitors and several thousand professionals from the railway ecosystem, who came to discover the latest innovations in the sector.

Optical solutions adapted to railway environments

At its stand, Idea Optical showcased its expertise in optical and optoelectronic connectivity, with products designed to meet the specific requirements of railway infrastructure.

Visitors were able to discover:

• the iGATE range: robust metal boxes for outdoor use or technical stations,
• the iCOP range: lightweight polycarbonate boxes resistant to extreme conditions,
  
• the iCOVE range: compact and secure optoelectronic boxes for outdoor installations,
  
• the iCOL range: robust, waterproof (IP65) aluminium optical/power connection boxes for demanding environments,
  
• customised solutions incorporating fibre optics and/or active components.

Manufactured in France, this equipment meets the railway sector’s expectations in terms of safety, performance and maintainability.

A joint exhibition with

Idea Optical co-exhibited with ACOME, its long-standing partner for railway signalling and telecommunications cables, thereby reinforcing the complementary nature of the offering to players in the sector.

A very positive outcome
