iCOM-48
The iCOM-48 is a secure cable termination box for connecting a maximum of 48 fibres to a fibre adapter panel.
Its two-area design allows the “spliced bare fibre” section to be isolated from the “optical patch cords” section.
The secure iCOM-48 is composed of:
- 1 metal base for anchoring two cables entering at the top or two cables entering at the bottom;
- 1 shutter equipped with a simple closure device or secure key lock, supporting on one side up to four 12-fibre splice trays and on the other up to 48 SC SX-type adapters or 24 LC DX-type adapters with cable guide and overlength coiling;
- 1 metal protective cover equipped with a simple closure device or secure key lock.
