ARMOURED/SHIELDED PATCH CORDS
Armoured or shielded optical patch cords are designed for applications in harsh environments and are resistant to rodent attacks thanks to their stainless-steel protection and PVC coating.
ARMOURED PATCH CORDS
The armoured patch cords consist of a 600μm sheathed optical fibre protected by a PVC coated stainless steel tube. They are available in simplex and duplex versions and are delivered connected.
SHIELDED PATCH CORDS
The shielded patch cords are made of a duplex optical cable (2 × 2mm over-sheathed) protected by a PVC coated stainless-steel sheath. Each sheath can contain up to three pairs of fibres and thus provide three optical links (Tx/Rx) in the same space. Idea Optical offers all types of connectors and all types of patch cord lengths up to 60 m for single patch cords (2 OF), 25 m for double patch cords (4 OF) and 15 m for triple patch cords (6 OF).
